[2] We will test different passive strategies including shade, thermal mass, and earth tubes to ultimately make a house comfortable. [1] Therefore, to improve the thermal resistance of the walls, insulation needed to be added to either the interior or the exterior. [4] The masonry chimneys were reconstructed above the roof insulation plane incorporating an insulation layer to complete the continuity of the insulation and to avoid thermal bridging. [4]
